HalloweenCostumes.ai
About
HalloweenCostumes.ai helps you work out what to be for Halloween, then points you at shops that actually stock it.

What it does
Describe yourself in a sentence - your job, your dog, the thing your friends tease you about - and the site writes five costume ideas built around it. Most come with real costumes you can buy, from shops like HalloweenCostumes.com, Spirit Halloween and Target. One or two are deliberately inventive and come with a note on how to make them yourself.
Who runs it
The site is run by Christa Rees, who runs the site personally rather than through a company. It is a small, independent site rather than a company with a team behind it.
Why it exists
Costume shopping usually starts with a blank search box and ends with whatever was on the first page. The idea here was to start from the person instead, and to be honest about the fact that the costumes come from somewhere else.
How it pays for itself
Some links to retailers are affiliate links, which may earn a commission when you buy through them. It never changes what you pay and it never changes which costumes the site shows you. The full disclosure is on its own page.
